"Dodge! Yes, that's it, Amy! And now attack! You must not let up for a second."
Amy bunched her muscles and sprang at the blue dragon in front of her. K'rath was watching Angela and Amy spar from the side, growling out instructions every now and then. Katie was perched nearby, unable to join battle with the larger dragon and tiger, due to her size. A full-grown crow could take on even a dragon, but Katie was still young, even for a human.

A shadowy shape....what was it? R'eath struggled to make it out. The chief mage of the Circle of the Cats peered through the mist, willing his dream to make clear the shape....a wolf! A shadow wolf. Then the dream sped forward.
